1.2kV Low-Voltage Bushings | 417A, 630A & 1200A
These IEEE Certified molded integral low-voltage bushings are designed for pad-mounted distribution transformers. Combining a C11000 copper conductor with a glass-reinforced nylon resin insulation body, they provide an insulated connection between the transformer’s internal leads and external terminals.
Each bushing features an integral triangular mounting flange, an internal single-hole spade terminal, and an external threaded stud. Three current ratings—417A, 630A, and 1200A—are available to suit different transformer requirements.
Key Features
Integral Mounting Flange
The triangular mounting flange is molded as part of the insulation body, eliminating the need for a separate mounting flange. The three-point mounting arrangement secures the bushing to the transformer tank wall.
Glass-Reinforced Nylon Insulation
The insulation body is molded from high-performance glass-reinforced nylon resin, selected for its mechanical strength, temperature stability, and low moisture absorption. The specified application temperature range is −40°C to +140°C.
C11000 Copper Conductor
The C11000 copper conductor incorporates an internal single-hole spade and an external threaded stud. Different thread sizes are available according to the current rating.
Enhanced Conductor-to-Insulation Bonding
Special copper stud surface treatment strengthens the bond between the conductor and insulation body, helping maintain sealing integrity during thermal cycling and long-term service.
Dimensional Compatibility
The bushings are designed with mounting and connection dimensions compatible with many similar bushings. Compatibility should be checked against the selected model’s drawing, including the mounting bolt pattern, tank opening, conductor dimensions, internal spade, and external thread.
