Gas relay sedrles QJ are kinds of protective devices installed on oil immersed transformers with on load tap changers of 800KVA and above, it is mocented on the connecting pipe between transformer and oil conservator. When the stop plate of gas relay is rushed by gas or heavy oil flow caused by internal failure of transformer or on load tap changer,the tripping contacts will be closed and the power source be disconnected automatically to providea protection for transformer or on load tap changer.
